Engine Cutaway

Plain and simple, the E350 Turbo performance is second to none.

The Expedition 350 Turbo utilizes the Lycoming TIO-540-AH1A engine which produces 320hp up to 5,000 feet.  It is one of the most powerful six cylinder turbo-charged engines that Lycoming currently produces. Based on its legendary IO-540 block, the Lycoming TIO-540-AH1A is built to perform for high altitude/high temperture "hot and high" operations.

Coupled with dual exhausts and an 82 inch,
three blade Hartzell prop, the Expedition E350 Turbo is
one of the most powerful pistons on the
planet! Its low stall speed, large fowler flaps
and impressive rate of climb, even at gross
weight, enables this aircraft to be a genuine
STOL aircraft. Its cruise speed of over 170 knots
combined with its impressive range makes
the E350 Turbo a true cross-country aircraft.
