Backcountry Airstrips or Even a Glacial Plateau
The Expedition E350's tough tricycle gear is built specifically for operations from rough airstrips. Even the nose wheel is built tough, with polyurethane shock absorbers to handle uneven terrain. Plus the castoring nose wheel has a range of 300 degrees rotation where necessary.
Whether it is your family, your friends or your clients, an Expedition provides you with one of the finest, hand-built aircraft in the world. Go ahead, land on that backcountry airstrip, that glacial plateau, or that rough water lake. Each Expedition is built from day one, not just to handle these conditions, but to thrive in them.
The E350 Amphibian offers superior safety as a floatplane. The steel tube frame incorporates a Y-brace in the windshield as well as float attachment brackets, so installing floats later on is simple and inexpensive. The E350 even comes standard with wingtip extensions and vortex generators offering short take-off runs and impressive stability. The Expedition is available on Wipline 3450, Aerocet 3400 and Aerocet 3500L floats.
